Weyermann® Abbey Malt® is a highly friable (easily crumbled) base malt that results in a pronounced maltiness in the following beer styles: Traditional Abbey Ale, Trappist Ale, Belgian Specialties, Belgian Blonde, Belgian Bruin (Brown), “Fest” beers, Belgian Amber, Belgian Ale, Faro, Fruit beers.
Use up to 50% of the total malt content of a recipe.
